Project Overview
'Vooringenomenheid' Is about the process of assessment at NWO. Every person has their own perspective on many things in life. This video is a good example of that, because: How can someone be suitable enough to continue a scientific research, when the judges has certain prejudices?
My Contributions
I was very pleased to make the animations for this project. Not only animated the whole video, I also did the full sounddesign for this project. My favorite part about this animation is how every character is their own person with their own sounds; emphasizing on how everyone is different and has certain perspectives and prejudices.

The Process

This was part two of a two-parter-animation. A very long but most importantly fun project that took place at Public Cinema. Working with Iris and Marleen was great. We came up with amazing ideas for transitions and how we'd like to see the shot animated.

I wanted to really use the child-like style to come to life. Letting the more "fun" principles of animation take its part in the animations, but keeping the formal voice in tight motions and fluid transitions. Also, like I said in the 'My contributions', I gave every character their own sounds; emphasizing on how everyone is different and has certain perspectives and prejudices.

A lovely project that was made with various new effects and motion techniques (for me at that time at least).
